Educational Outreach: Communicating your message
Engage educators and students with your organization!
Are you part of a business, museum, historical society, or nonprofit that would benefit from the community understanding the importance of your work? Clearly communicate your mission with captivating educational materials crafted by Dr. Burke.
Dr. Burke will partner with your organization to develop these materials and will assist in distributing them to local schools and educational districts, ensuring widespread community outreach. This can build brand awareness and potentially lifelong parterships/clients.

Workshops
Professional development session that cultivate a sense of belonging through educational gatherings that celebrate diversity and empower teachers and thus students to embrace their unique identities.
Able to work with administrators and teachers to address:
- New PA Culturally Relevant and Sustaining Education competencies
-Integrating Social Studies standards into other content areas
-STEELS standards- specifically Environmental Literacy & Sustainability
Will tailor to district’s needs.
Student focus:
Engaging Lessons
Ignite young minds with authentic learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster growth. Dr. Burke can come in and teach on a wide variety of social studies topics, and will tailor content to your population.
Lessons can be one day or a longer unit- completely able to tailor to your needs and grade levels.
Topics include (but are not limited to):
-Appreciating differences
-Every day economics
-Gender and racial biases and stereotypes
-Local history (expertise in South Central PA, and able to do other regions as well)
